What You’ll Learn
The Storage Blind Spot
Your observability stack covers apps, containers, and network — but storage metrics are stuck in a silo. Learn why this gap costs teams time during incident response and how to close it.
OpenTelemetry for Storage
OpenTelemetry is the CNCF standard for vendor-neutral telemetry. Discover how Tintri’s VM-aware metrics — IOPS, latency, throughput, capacity — now flow through standard OTEL pipelines alongside the rest of your stack.
Break Free from Metric Lock-In
Stop losing data when you switch platforms. See how an open-source OTEL Collector integration eliminates proprietary dependencies and gives you full control over where your storage telemetry goes.
Live Demo: Before and After
Watch a live walkthrough of the Tintri OTEL Collector — from installation and configuration to real storage metrics appearing in Prometheus, correlated with application-layer data on a unified dashboard.
